This Instructor Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which instructors are accepted, paid, and operate on CrownThriveU, a division of CrownThrive, LLC. By applying to become an instructor and using our platform to offer courses, you agree to comply with this policy. Please read it carefully to ensure you understand your rights and obligations as an instructor.

Instructor Acceptance and Eligibility

To become an instructor on CrownThriveU, you must meet the following criteria:

  1. Application Process: All prospective instructors must submit an application, which includes relevant qualifications, teaching experience, and course content proposals. CrownThriveU reserves the right to review and approve or reject any instructor applications at our sole discretion.
  2. Qualification: Instructors must demonstrate expertise in their field. This may be through formal education, professional experience, or other qualifications as deemed appropriate by CrownThriveU.
  3. Compliance: Instructors must agree to comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations when using the platform.
  4. Content Review: All course content is subject to review and approval by CrownThriveU to ensure it aligns with our quality standards and content guidelines. Courses that do not meet these standards may be rejected, removed, or subject to revision.
Commission and Payment Terms

CrownThriveU charges a 30% commission on all course sales made through the platform. The following terms govern the payment process:

  1. Commission: Instructors receive 70% of the total revenue from course sales, while CrownThriveU retains a 30% commission. This commission covers platform usage, marketing, support, and administrative services provided by CrownThriveU.
  2. Payout Schedule: Instructors are paid on a monthly basis, with payouts processed within 30 days following the end of the month in which the sale occurred. Payments will be made via the payment method provided during account setup (e.g., PayPal, Stripe).
  3. Payment Threshold: Instructors must reach a minimum payout threshold of $100 before funds will be disbursed. If the threshold is not met in a given month, earnings will roll over to the next month until the threshold is reached.
  4. Refunds and Chargebacks: If a course sale is refunded or subject to a chargeback, CrownThriveU reserves the right to deduct the corresponding amount from the instructor’s earnings. Refunds are issued in accordance with our Refund Policy, and instructors will be notified of any refund requests or chargebacks related to their courses.
Instructor Use Policy

Instructors are expected to use the CrownThriveU platform responsibly and in accordance with the following guidelines:

  1. Content Ownership: Instructors retain ownership of the content they create and publish on CrownThriveU. By submitting content to the platform, instructors grant CrownThrive, LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute their content for the purpose of delivering the service.
  2. Course Content: Instructors must ensure that all course content is accurate, up-to-date, and does not violate any third-party intellectual property rights. CrownThriveU does not permit the use of copyrighted material without proper authorization or licensing.
  3. Student Interaction: Instructors are expected to engage with students in a respectful and professional manner. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of inappropriate behavior toward students is strictly prohibited and may result in the suspension or termination of instructor access.
  4. Platform Use: Instructors must not use the platform for illegal activities, spamming, or any actions that disrupt the normal operation of the site. Any violation of these policies may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination.
Disclaimers and Liability

CrownThriveU provides the platform "as is" and does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The following disclaimers apply:

  1. No Warranty: CrownThriveU makes no warranties regarding the performance of the platform, the success of course sales, or the accuracy of any marketing projections or analytics. Instructors use the platform at their own risk.
  2. Limitation of Liability: CrownThriveU is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the platform. Instructors agree that CrownThriveU’s total liability for any claims arising out of these terms or the use of the platform shall not exceed the total amount paid to the instructor in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  3. Intellectual Property: Instructors are responsible for ensuring that their content complies with intellectual property laws and does not infringe upon the rights of others. CrownThriveU is not liable for any intellectual property disputes arising from instructor content.
  4. Independent Contractor Status: Instructors are independent contractors and not employees of CrownThrive, LLC. As such, instructors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and any other obligations required by their local laws. CrownThriveU does not provide benefits, insurance, or worker’s compensation for instructors.
Termination and Removal of Content

CrownThriveU reserves the right to terminate or suspend an instructor’s access to the platform at any time for violations of this policy or other applicable agreements. The following conditions apply:

  1. Voluntary Termination: Instructors may terminate their participation on the platform at any time by providing written notice to CrownThriveU. Upon termination, the instructor’s courses will be removed, and any outstanding payments will be disbursed in the next payout cycle.
  2. Involuntary Termination: CrownThriveU may terminate an instructor’s access to the platform for violations of this policy, including but not limited to breach of content guidelines, illegal activity, or failure to comply with payment terms.
  3. Removal of Content: CrownThriveU reserves the right to remove any instructor content that violates our guidelines, infringes upon third-party rights, or is deemed inappropriate for the platform. Instructors will be notified of the reasons for content removal.
Modifications to the Instructor Policy

CrownThrive, LLC reserves the right to update or modify this Instructor Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy to the CrownThriveU website. Instructors are responsible for reviewing the policy periodically to stay informed of any updates.
